Most of his clothes aren't real. They're generated by the same filter that makes him look human, so he only has what was already programmed into it.

He does have good taste, if showier than mine.

That's a good thought. I'll mention it. I can only imagine the state real clothes would be in if he had to turn the filter off suddenly.

I really ought to work harder at understanding technology at some point. It's foreign enough that I've spent most of my time pursuing other subjects.
